These are a few of the camera set-up sketches I created for "Falling Down", instead of traditional storyboards. Having each scene planned out ahead of time in this way makes shooting much easier. There were a few times we had to make some changes, for instance in scene 2 we realized the difficulty in keeping a camera steady on a bed to create the POV shot for 1A wasn't worth the time it would take to set up. While the free version of Celtx that I used only had a limited number of objects and shapes, it was still very easy to map these out. However, a scene with a large number of people would be more difficult to create with only two human forms, so it would certainly be worth the few extra dollars to get hundreds of other sketches in their add-on.
